At first I wondered why these were so expensive...
It seemed like a lot of money to pay for a deck chair - especially as I was buying 2 - but now I know why they cost more than your normal garden sun lounger and where the extra money has gone.

These are indeed a superior, quality product. The frame and body is solid and heavy, and the actual 'fabric' of the seat (a heavy, thick, woven, waterproof material) is tough, strong and will last ages.

It's attached to the frame via a rather cool looking method - bound to it with a long stretch of elasticated rope, that's passed through it and then twisted round the frame.

The wholes in the black mesh material are finished with silver metal eyelets to prevent fraying, and the effect looks good and makes for a very comfy seat, as it provides a 'sprung' area to rest your 'posterior'.

There's also a removable head rest and pillow, with can not only be whisked off in seconds if you don't like it, but adjusted to some extent by sliding it up and down the...
