Bad heel
There is a plastic piece in the heel that wears through after a few months. I have never had a shoe wear out this fast. I thought it might be a one off so I bought a second pair, but a few months later it happened again.

Great shoe.

This was a fantastic deal from Amazon (I know my freind paid a lot more) the shoe is well built and feels very solid I feel that You could tackle most hills in the UK in summer months, I know a lot of purists would frown at this as they do not offer the ankle support a traditional walking boot does, however if you look at fell runners footwear they are in lightweight fell shoes with no support.

I don't feel the lack of a gortex lining is a problem as you should always match your clothing/footwear to the weather conditions.
These shoes look great if your in walking gear or if your wearing them with jeans.

Top buy, get a pair.
