Very comfortable and worked well on a variety of terrain
I bought these for a 2 week hutting holiday in the Alps. They fitted my feet very well and were comfortable from the start, with no breaking in required. They were used through a variety of rain, snow and sun on a very mixed set of paths. They were also used on shorter sections of rock and snow. The grip seemed OK on all surfaces and the underfoot cushioning was very good. The only drawback I have found is that they gape a bit at the top and so can let in small stones when I am wearing shorts.

The boots were bought as replacements for Brasher Hillmasters, whose soles were very worn down after 6 weeks use mainly on rocky paths. By comparison, the Fellmasters have a slightly more flexible but much more shock absorbent sole. They seem to be just as good on rock, with the added benefit of producing no blisters. The soles also seem to be wearing better than the Hillmasters.

Been to Nepal and Back!
I bought these as I'm going on a trip to Nepal at the end of next month and needed some decent trekking/walking boots.
Having used to work in Blacks I know a bit or two about boots and knew Brasher are a well recommended brand as I used to have many customers tell me theirs laster for years before having to buy new ones.
So now I am taking a lesson out of their books and bought the Brasher Fellmaster in a UK 9.

They arrived today and so far I am extremely happy with them. I did try on some other boots at Go Outdoors but these were the best that suited my needs and were most comfortable.
They have reasonably good ankle support (they are a walking/hiking boot afterall - not a mountain boot), and are well designed with a much more modern sleeker look.
The grip is very good despite not having a Vibram sole and the rubberised toes add that extra bit of protection. The sole also has quite a rugged imprint with plenty of nobs and features for grip.
