The Banshee 200 2012 edition is a 2 man tent in an updated version new for this season from Vango. This lightweight tent is easy to assemble using the colour coded poles in under 7 minutes. The Vango Bashee 200 can deal with calm or harsh weather as the door can seal out the rain or open out to a full porch. When hiking or travelling overseas, the backpacking tent can compress into the stuff sack to make transporting it much easier and is also handy for storage.

If you want the smallest tent possible for a reasonable price, it seems perfect
I bought this as a one man tent (but two man if necessary) to take on a sea kayak trip on the west coast of Scotland.

Positives:

+ Packs up tight to less than 40cm long and was by far the smallest tent I could find in the shops (most were around 50cm due to the length of the poles) so easier to stow in the kayak with other gear
+ It's a Vango which is a brand I've used for over 20 years (I still have a perfectly good Vango three man which is 15 years old, but just too big to get in the kayak with all the other gear)
+ Materials/quality of the tent is very good. Despite being so light, the materials fairly tough and comes with very good tent pegs.
+ Really simple to set up once you've worked it out the first time.

Negatives:

- The tent bag could be more robust and I got a slight rip as I repacked (why does nothing new ever pack into the same space it came out of as easily?). Nothing major, but a slightly tougher material on...

Excellent tent
This tent has been designed superbly and is extremely versatile. If you're planning to take it on any length of trek, it will be too small for 2 people, but spacious for 1. It is also very light.

This makes it great for a long (or short) 1 man hike where reliability, weight, and space are important.
Some people have complained about the lack of space in the vestibule, but this can easily be remedied by unclipping the inner that side and moving it back a little, but most of the time you'll want to be cooking outside the tent anyway. Pack can go in the inner with you (there *is* enough space for this), and there is a small storage area at the top of the tent big enough for boots + raincoat.

It has a good profile in the wind (pitch it lower end into) and is low which gives it extra stability - I am six foot yet find it fine.

I didn't give it 5 stars because I got the later version that was pictured and there was a small rip on one of the inner seams...
