Light-weight and quiet
I've only just received this cool-box so these are early impressions. It's light-weight and reasonably capacious. The reason I chose this one was that I wanted to be able to use it in the car and also with normal AC sockets. The cooling fan, fortunately, is quiet as I intend to use it in hotel rooms when we're on the move to keep fruit juice, etc., chilled. The box has a fabric casing that has useful pockets that can store the cables and plugs when not in use. It has a sturdy carrying handle. When using mains power it chilled the interior of the box down by about the promised 16 to 18 degrees below the ambiant temperature. I can see that on a very hot day, when placed in a car, the interior of the cool-box will not be able to achieve the kind of temperature achievable in a domestic fridge, but certainly better than nothing.
The only problem I had was over the adaptor plug that converts the two pin plug into a UK three pin. At first I couldn't get the two pin part to stay...

Brilliant
I would recommend this cool box for anyone who travels alot. I thought it was a bit expensive but not in the least. One thing in the discription it doesn't tell you is that there is a mains adaptor included with the price. Brilliant for me taking food to work as I stay out a few nights each week. I can plug it into the socket in my hotel room and I can still keep food and drinks chilled for whole time I'm away. This cool box will save me lots of money.
