I found this product to be highly effective, did exactly what it says on the tin and totally cool with it! Especially for my trendy pre-teen. We put this product through it's paces in the swimming pool and found that it does indeed float and there was no seepage of water. Like the first reviewer I did find it extremely difficult to fit at first. Took me ages and my fingers were sore from trying to get the cover over the last 2 corners. However, Scanstrut the makers of this product, are very helpful. They emailed me back a very simple tip. If you lubricate (vaseline) Just under the rim of the FRONT part of the cover it slips on SO easily. I got the case fitted in under 5 minutes!

Bought this case a few weeks ago & delighted with it. Had my doubts about such a slick case being waterproof, but the initial effort fitting it to my ipad actually put my mind at rest (and fitting it really isn't too difficult) My kids now use it in the bath!!

Stylish & functional & definitely adds protection, I dropped my ipad from chest height (accidentally!) & remarkably it came through unscathed. Not sure I want to try that again so have taken to using the handy holding strap at the back. Also comes with a handy fitting tool that doubles up as a stand so can watch as a TV.

Very happy with my purchase & wouldn't change my choice.
