With the new multi-function flysheet door the Mirage will deal with harsh weather, and then open up into a comfortable porch for fine conditions.

Vango Mirage 300 - Does the job competently.
I chose to try out my new tent in the lake district on a week long camp. I was the only occupant and found I had plenty of room for all my kit and lots of room to spare. I would say that two people with backpacks would be quite comfortable in this tent. The tent isn't too low considering it is made to be compact.

The weather turned nasty halfway through the week and the rain lashed down for 3 days without abating; in addition, two of these wretched days had near gale force winds.
The tent stood up well to the frightful conditions and only the occasional guy adjustment was required. No leaks or absorption of water.
At the end of the ordeal, a bend in one of the alloy poles was the only sign of the stress the tent had endured (obviously alloy poles have less flex in windy conditions than their fibreglass relatives - the downside seems to be that eventually some give is demanded if it isn't forthcoming!)

Overall, I was quite satisfied with performance...
