It's not cheap, but buy it - NOW!
If I could, I'd go to work every day without a coat but there's always those days when there's a certain percentage chance of rain and so you start the day wearing a coat and spend the rest of the day carrying it around. I get hot travelling on trains and draping a coat across my legs on a crowded commuter isn't my idea of comfort.

This coat however presents an answer to all this - it seems too good to be true, lightweight, breathable, impregnable and folds down to 'nothing'.

Since I've had it, it's been in my work bag on any day which threatens to rain and if I haven't needed it then it's not a problem as it really is lightweight and folds down to 'nothing' - taking up no more space than a folded up 'Metro'.

When it's needed, it's proven to be impregnable although I have to say at times I have felt a little warm in it so I'm not entirely convinced about the breathability. Having said that it is miles better than any other lightweight coat I've tried...

I purchased this jacket as my previous Berghaus Packlite has been "aquired" by my son for golf. I am a hill walker and past experienced proved that it would not withstand driving rain. It is however light and packable and is excellent as a wind proof and for use in light rain.
