Having had bad experiences with two sets of hiking boots supplied by another manufacturer over the past year, I was a bit sceptical about whether these Karrimor boots could possibly be as good as the other reviewers have said, given their price. My new boots arrived yesterday morning (with some super free gifts!)and I tried them out that afternoon on a three-mile walk with the dog (country lanes and fells). Even though they were brand-new, they were comfortable and supportive, with really good grip. Today I wore them in torrential rain in the fields before breakfast - no problem - my feet stayed perfectly dry. If the leather uppers last a good time (some of my past leather boots have tended to fray where the uppers crease when walking), these could end up being my favourite hiking boots ever!

I've had these boots for a few weeks now. I like them so much I've ordered a second pair! So comfortable and they look great!

Iv'e been wearing these boots around the farm while working, they are excellent walking boots that grip well, which is a must for me as I walk the hills everyday checking the sheep. They are also supportive around your ankle, which again is a real bonus.
