Like all Lafuma relaxers, the RSXA features the patented and original Lafuma ´Relaxer´ system, which allows stability in an infinite number of positions from upright to near horizontal. The batyline seat, which is easily maintained, is suspended by elastic lacing cords to give a hammock-like comfort. This model features traditional foam filled armrests.

Having some back and neck problems I was looking for a garden chair that is comfortable and supportive. I was able briefly to try out Lafuma chairs in a garden centre and they seemed to fit the bill. There is a choice between the Batyline and a padded version. The latter is very comfortable but the former is ventilated making it ideal for hot weather. Hence I chose this version.I have not been disappointed in my purchase. It is very comfortable and the sprung rope-like attachment of the material to the frame gives a combination of support and comfort. The position can be infinitely varied from sitting upright to fully reclining with very little effort. It folds for storage very easily. There are similar and considerably cheaper products available but Lafuma has a good build quality and can be recommended.

Excellent Recliner
These chairs are so comfy and offer total support; best avoided when busy as it is really easy to doze off on these. They are much better than cheaper alternatives. We have used 2 of these chairs for several years without any problems. The new ones look even better as they have dark armrests, unlike the original pale ones which do mark easily. I like the Seigle option (beige) and the 'holey fabric' which always looks clean. Paid a little extra for delivery and received chairs well within 24 hours; very helpful customer service. Highly recommended.
