Includes two fine and two medium grit triangle shaped ceramic stones which slide into precisely angled keyholes that are molded into a strong polymer base. 40° angle for sharpening, 30° angle for back beveling and 12.5° angle for sharpening scissors. Flip base over and two stones fit in to provide a bench sharpener. Includes two brass rods to protect user's hands. All parts store inside base, and lid snaps on making a self contained unit. Includes instruction booklet and DVD.

Best edge ever
The Syderco Tri-Sharpener is an amazing little device. The sharpener comes with a DVD instruction guide that is painfully naff but worthwhile watching; it teaches you how to use the Spydeco to sharpen all manner of objects. In different configurations, it's able to deliver outstandingly sharp edges to knives, scissors, fishing hooks, darts, axes...

The edges it produces are so sharp yet critically smooth too, they glide through pretty much everything ...including fingers (be warned, one needs to be especially careful with knives sharpened with the Spyderco - everyone in my house including myself, have been caught out by how deceptively sharp the edges this gizmo leaves)! The Spyderco can quickly produce an edge sharp enough to shave hairs off you arm!

My one criticism is I'm finding the very tiny tip of my knives chip off during sharpening. You'd really have to look hard to see this, but because of the action involved in sharpening flicks the point of the blade...
