Product description Vango Banshee 200 Tent (2013)
The Vango Banshee 200 is the perfect trekking tent for those wanting to travel light. The two pole design combined with all in one pitching (you can pitch the flysheet with the inner already hanging) means you can pitch it in a matter of minutes. The PowerLite Alloy poles are strong and durable meaning the Banshee is capable of withstanding strong winds. The low profile of the tent also assists with the wind shedding design. Vango's Tension Band System (TBS) further adds to the tents stability. Duke of Edinburgh Recommended. Protex 5000mm Fabric 70D Protex® Polyester is durable and has a hydrostatic head waterproofing rating of 5000mm. TBS®II The Tension Band System is a wind stabilisation system, reducing the amount of pole flex in side winds. We have tried to present and spent lots of time to get the most beneficialdiscount for you. If you still in doubt, you may find what they think about Vango Banshee 200 Tent (2013).
so far so good
This unit is great quality - the poles being the best I have ever used in any tent.I have only opened and put up in the garden at home but wll return to you with a full report upon a proper useage asap.
I picked it up for 75 quid and would say its well worth it.
Inside when pitched it is enough room for me (5.9 95 kg) would i share with another adult - no way there is room for me and my kit inside and a small area covered by the outer skin that will hold a pair of boots and smaller items (no ground sheet here though).
I could perhaps share with my 5 year old son but the shape inside is more kite like and would not lend well to 2 roll matts.
it reckons 7 mins to erect mmmmm more like 25 in full perhaps this will be faster with practace but will report later on how that goes.
One star off at the moment due to the clips that hold the inner skin to the frame are bloody hard work to unclip, so much so I had to jam them open with a tent peg to get the clip free.
