I bought this tent as an upgrade to my Gelert Twister 3, after safely testing my toddler on a few camping trips and finding she loved it as much as I did! This is a great family-size tent and is genuinely easy to put up and take down. Although the famous video on the Decathlon site shows 2 people putting it up and down, I have done it by myself with no problem on a couple of occasions now. It can be slightly trickier doing it in the wind, but it was still manageable.

Care advice :
1 CLEANING: if need be, clean the tent with soapy water then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2 RESIN STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off whilst holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the resin brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is completely dry to prevent odours and mould formation.

Brought the tent from elsewhere the night we needed to use it so had no chance to try packing it before the weekend which is my usual rule for popup tents so was dreading the take down. Shouldn't of worried, the instructions are basic but it is really simple, vast improvement on the previous generations took just one attempt to take down. It could be done with one person but is better to have two for the final fold just to keep things in line.

The Tent comes with a separate ground sheet which Velcros in place and worked well keeping all the mud and water out over the weekend and is also meant we could easily fold the tent up without getting it caked in mud on the last day. The porch is large and we were able to sit (on chairs) in the porch and cook each day with the door open despite the rain thanks to a built in visor.The sleeping compartment could fit 4 at a squeeze but three with kit would be optimum. Ready for a festival!
Bought for my daughter to take to her first festival this year. Decided a pop up tent would be quick and easy to put up. I tried it out in the front room, easy to put up and put down. I love that the instructions are attached to the bag and are fabric and that the bag had 2straps included so you can carry it like a rucksack. Obviously can't tell yet whether it will be ok in any wind or rain.

Great tent if you want to pitch it quickly
These are great tents if you want something that pitches quickly. You pull it out of it's cover bag and it just springs into being, like some kind of magic! It really does take only about 2 seconds! It weighs about 2.7kg. I bought it mainly as a 1 person tent to have the extra room, it's designed as a 2 person tent and would fit 2 people but I wanted somewhere to put my stuff, so as not to leave it outside. For the price it's good quality and just so easy to pitch as the flexible poles are already attached, the only thing extra you need to do is put the pegs in the ground if it's windy. The setup/packup instructions are on a waterproof sheet attached to the tent so you can't lose them. There is a technique to packing it up but when you know how it can take only about 15-30 seconds - (try doing that with an ordinary tent!) When packed up it's in a circular bag, so not something you could fit into a backpack, but in theory it could be tied on with some bungees. It does have a carry...
