One of the best hiking shoes I have come across. An excellent compromise between a hiking shoe and a hiking trainer. Most hiking shoes have soles of a similar construction to their boot counterparts, not so in this case (this is the shoe version of the the very popular Explorer Trek boot). This shoe, i.e. the Explorer Trail Low GTX, has a very flexible, yet stable, sole construction and solid arch support, making it extremely comfortable. I would fully recommend this shoe to anybody looking for stability with extra comfort.

I'm so pleased with this pair of walking shoes, so comfortable i didn't even need to 'wear them in' as can so often be the case which to be honest was a very pleasant suprise. Great arch support is a huge benfit for me and the sizing is spot on. Before i have had problems with sizeing, the majority of the time i go one size up from my regular size however i highly recommend sticking with the usual trainer or shoe size you go for.
