Good for overnight travel, can be used as carry-on luggage, not so good as a backpack
This makes a very useful day/overnight/weekend travel bag. I have to travel frequently with work, a mixture of day trips and overnight stays. This bag is perfect for that use; there are 4 pockets from back to front - getting gradually smaller in size. The biggest pocket has a padded area for a 15 inch laptop and can also fit a variety of folders, papers, documents etc. The pockets then get gradually smaller towards the front of the bag - the 4th pocket is small and can fit keys and other small items. On one of the sides of the bag is a net pocket for a water/drinks bottle.

Disagree with the reviewer who said it can't be used as carry-on language on a plane. If you're on one of those tiny little planes, then very few bags can used as carry-on. I've used this bag as carry-on with no problems on flights to mainland Europe and further afield (the bag was 50% full and I still had room to spare in the overhead bin). If you pack this bag out, then of course it's going to be very...

Not suitable for carry on
I do a lot of three or four day trips around the world, so this backpack looked ideal for my needs. I've owned small suitcases before but they've always let me down, so this looked like a perfect replacement - small enough to use as carry-on luggage, but capacious enough for a few days' clothes.

It's very well made, and I managed to get a week's worth of clothes in it for a recent holiday. Despite being full to the brim it showed no signs of exploding, and the large wheels make pulling it around an absolute pleasure. You barely even know it's there.

The big problem is that as soon as it's full it's almost as deep as it is wide, and it's too big to take on most flights as hand luggage. As a result, it was relegated to the hold, and it does look kind of pathetic in comparison to other bags as it comes in on the conveyor belt. If you don't pack it to the brim it will probably fit, but that kind of defeats the object. If you need in-flight travel luggage, get a...
